How to Glamp your Camp 101

We all know about “glamping” right?

But did you know that pioneer women actually started this trend long ago? True story!

While they were likely just trying to make the best of their surroundings & survive, more recently it’s all about adding some modern luxury to your nature experiences.

By adding a few luxe items & special touches, like some pretty accessories, flowers, special dishes/glassware & some textures, like these faux furs & tablecloth, you create a luxurious layer on top of your usual camping basics.   

Plus it adds style to your camping setup. 

It’s essentially decorating your campsite & whatever you’re camping in (your tent or camper)!  I love the idea of glamping; it’s right up this interior designer’s alley!

If you don’t have to worry about traveling lightly, then the packing list for your glamping essentials is only limited by your imagination & probably the size of your vehicles, but any g l a m p o u t begins with these basic ideas.

• To start with, you ideally want a unique camping structure like a bell tent, a tipi, yurt or a vintage camper!

• Then you’ll want to think about how you can add that layer of luxury, glam, and comfort to your camping basics in consideration of your needs & what you have. Consider how you can upgrade your sleeping experience or seating.

• Pillows, blankets & extra softness are a must! Rugs are a great addition too.

• Various lights and lanterns are essential for glamping to add ambiance & romance.

• You must have some fun decorations in there too!

There are no rules really. Just build your basic camping set up & add some extra layers. Use your imagination & have fun with it!
