Rocking the Runway

We rocked it at Rock the Runway, a fundraiser for local charity organization Kidd’s Kids and had such a great time participating. It was a beautiful evening, perfect to help capture the spirit of Marfa, TX. Set in the Dallas Design District guests were invited to “experience the art destination for glamorous scenesters without the long drive to West Texas! “

Our cute little Texas gem, Peggy Hill, set the scene and greeted guests front and center below the sign of the Empire Room. Inside guests were welcomed to a fun fashion show, live entertainment, tasty treats and an open bar. A custom made Prada storefront and strategically placed vintage campers helped set the scene in the large outdoor space.

Stella B was outfitted for full photo booth mode! We had the opportunity to stage some accessories and furniture outside of our photo booth camper, set up next to our new friend BubbleTap, the cute prosecco camper. We set up a glamped up seating area and I had fun gathering accessories and hand making a few custom props for photos.

We met so many interesting people and even had a few local celebs in our camper! The kids that were there thoroughly enjoyed the photo booth. I think I was almost kicked out of my own camper, afraid a new captain was taking over! Thankfully she can’t drive yet so I’m not too worried!

It was an awesome night benefitting a great organization that sends ill children and their families to Disney World. We are so thankful to be able to be a part of this night and so thankful that wonderful organizations like this exist!
